Are We
Really, The Intelligent Species?
It's sad to think about what's going on
And that we as a species, certainly could take control
But when greed prevails and all else fails
The planet and the human race will, eventually suffer
the toll
Oh to think of the solace it brings, like flowers 'n
babies and things
And to truly, enjoy the sun when it's shining
'Cause mostly every day the sky's so gray
Unable to find the dark cloud, the one with the silver
lining
Belligerence and grief, turmoil and strife
There is so, so much lying and dying
Just attempt for one day, not to hear the media say
For we are bombarded with unrest, truly without even
trying
Why does it have to be reiterated, so many nation's
being obliterated?
You can bet your last dollar it won't take a scholar to
see through
Certainly not justice that courses, you got it, it's
their natural resources
Taxpayers pay the costs of incursions and outright
subversions, benefitting only the Few
'Cause there ain't no trouble turning another country to
rubble
When a powerful Nation's People, pick up the cost
Sixty-three thousand isn't that wild, for every man,
woman and child
Monies that could've been spent on infrastructure,
utterly and totally lost
With the masses kept muted and many environments
polluted
Come on, it's a little solace and peace that we need
But the stark reality is, it's the central banker's show
biz
And continue will, the collusion, intrusion and greed
This should come as no surprise, but you must realize
And in wonderment, when will it cease?
This statement remains, for central bankers hold the
reigns
'Cause baby, there ain't no money in peace
For the Few's misgivings and failings and the planet's
ailings
Do you think it's more than just a thesis?
And the question that prevails and truly it pales
Are we really, the intelligent species?
