'Tis
The Season Ta Make 'Em Tic'
Ah yes, late Spring
Then turns to Summer
Everything's a-flowerin'
For many, 'tis a-bummer
So much pollen in the air
The plants are releasin'
The pharmaceutical companies
Prefer it increasin'
People's noses a-runnin'
Their eyes are a-waterin'
Headaches and sneezin'
Kind a-teeter-totterin'
Now 'tis late Summer
Which turns into Fall
Gone, are the glassy eyes
My allergy withdrawal
Autumn's now recedin'
A-comin' is a-winter
Gonna be here so quick
Like a hundred yard sprinter
Hmm, spose' time's approachin'
Ta' get that chill
Talkin' 'bout the flu bug
Down 'n out 'n really ill
The onset of the “bug”
Thru' this anecdote
Temerature's a-risin'
A little scratch in the throat
Coughin' 'n a-sneezin'
With the flu bug yer' a-flirtin'
Somach churnin' and diarrhea
Whole body's completely a-hurtin'
We go thru' the earth's cycles
And sometimes we get sick
For 'tis the seasons
Ta' make 'em tic'
